It's important during your email communications to give your customers the opportunity to unsubscribe from your emails. You can easily accomplish this by adding an unsubscribe link to the footnote of your triggers or newsletters.

We will explain everything in the following video. Prefer reading the instructions for a better understanding? The text continues below the video.

Add some terms to your triggers and newsletters, in which you explain why the customer is receiving this email and how to unsubscribe from it. In the default triggers, we use the following text:

Afterwards, you can add the unsubscription link, which will take the customer to the unsubscription page in one click.

Select the part of the text you want to make "clickable". Click on "Special Links" in the toolbar. You will find the option "Subscriptions" > "Unsubscription link" in the drop-down menu. Now you will see, that the selected text has a different colour and is underlined; your unsubscription link has been added.

The unsubscribe link leads to a standard landing page. Rather design your own landing page? This article tells you how to design and publish an unsubscribe page.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: Next to the unsubscription link you can also add a subscription link to your emails. This way, your customers can re-subscribe to your email communication.
