Why does my test email show a different first name?
In this article, I explain why your test email shows a different first name than your own first name.

When you send yourself a test email and you use liquid like {{first_name}} , you will see that {{first_name}} is changed to a first name. Just not your own first name.

👉 This is because we take a real profile (randomly chosen) from your target selection. This can be a Wim, Sophie etc. etc. Therefore, it will never show your own first name. Handy to know! 😁
