Go to Loyalty > Points. In this section, you can create promotions that allow customers to save points. Click on the green button in the top right corner.

Start with the settings.

  • Name: The name of the savings promotion. E.g.: 20 points with every order.

  • Description: Here you can add a short description to clarify the savings. E.g.: Save 2 points with every order placed.

  • Start and end date: Temporary or unlimited validity. Are the savings valid for a limited time? Then enter a start and end date. Are the savings valid indefinitely? Then leave this field blank.

Now you see the section where you determine what action the customer must take to earn points.

  • New savings: Enter whether a fixed number of points or dynamic points should be awarded for the savings.

You can award a fixed number of points for static actions such as a birthday.
Variable points are always linked to an order. Variable points only work when you enter an order line in “Filter rules” (e.g., last order was placed 1 minute ago).

  • Value of points: Enter how many points are redeemed for a certain savings.

  • Selected profiles: See immediately how many profiles currently match the filter rules.

  • Filter rules: Next, set the rules for saving. When does the customer earn points?

Example: You want to give points to everyone whose birthday is in 2 days. Or to everyone who placed their first order 5 minutes ago.

When everything is filled in, click next. Now you can enter the content of the savings promotion. Enter a name and description here.

Your customers will see this name and description in the pop-up. You will now see a summary of exactly what you have entered.

Now continue with the next step: Add rewards.
