With Reloadify's AI segments, you no longer have to think about where your customers are in their customer journey yourself. In this article, you will read how to use Reloadify's AI segments.
AI segments based on RFM
Save time with Reloadify. The segments based on RFM can be found under profiles > segments. This allows you to see who your top customers are, which customers need attention, and which customers you risk losing.
How does an RFM analysis work?
To assign customer value, an RFM assigns scores to a profile. Scores are assigned based on the following points:
Recency: How recently has a profile made a purchase?
Frequency: How often does a profile make a purchase?
Monetary: How much money does the profile spend?
The Recency and Monetary scores are translated to a score in the range 1 to 5. Here, 1 is the lowest a profile can score, and 5 is the highest. The Frequency score runs for the AI segments from 1 to 3.
An RFM score is simply 3 digits in a row, always in the order Recency > Frequency > Monetary. Our AI model then calculates each score and assigns your profiles to a segment corresponding to it.
How do you use an AI segment?
The segment becomes useful by using the following rule in a flow, newsletter or trigger:
Nthe right segment can be selected. This way you can approach a segment in a very targeted way. On the contrary, do you want to exclude a segment? Then use “not equal to” in the rule.
Would you like an explanation of each segment and inspiration to approach the group? Then click on the i icon by the segment and an explanation will appear.
Want to build a flow or trigger with a particular segment? Then keep in mind that you need a time-based rule.
Why can't I customize an AI segment?
An A.I. segment based on RFM scores cannot be adjusted. Our A.I. model calculates the segments based on your own webshop data. Do you want to adjust the RFM scores yourself? Calculate the R, F and M individually with the separate filter rules.
