With Reloadify's AI segments you can see at once which profiles are in which customer stage. It can happen that an AI segment contains few (or even no) profiles. Although this seems strange at first glance, this is completely explainable.
Relative distribution of profiles
To divide your database into twelve AI segments, we use RFM. This means that the classification is a relative distribution. With an RFM analysis, you plot the three values (Recency, Frequency and Monetary) against the entire customer database. This makes the classification unique per webshop.
In practice: at webshop A five orders in one year lead to a Frequency score of 3, while at webshop B only twenty orders in the same period leads to the same Frequency score.
A second aspect to take into account is that our AI model distributes all your profiles based on fixed RFM scores per segment. So it is not an exact distribution of a fixed number of profiles per segment.
For example: the segment Champions contains profiles with a 535 score. So to label a profile as a Champion it must:
have R score of 5;
an F score of 3;
and an M score of 5.
No profiles match an AI segment? This means that no profiles match a segment's RFM scores.
