Deactivating a profile in a flow

Automatically deactivate a profile at the end of your flow, so the profile no longer receives emails.

What is it?

The Deactivate profile node deactivates a profile as soon as it reaches this node in the flow. This node always marks the end of the flow: you can't place another node after it, since you're not allowed to email a deactivated profile.

Why use this?

This node is especially relevant for re-engagement flows. For example, automatically deactivate profiles that haven't responded to a re-engagement attempt, without having to track this manually.

How do you add this node?

  1. Click the plus icon to add a new node.

  2. Select Deactivate profile.

  3. Choose when the profile should be deactivated:

    • Immediately: the profile is deactivated as soon as it reaches the node.

    • After a set time: the profile is only deactivated after the set period. This lets you still reach the profile with other emails in the meantime.

  4. Save the node.

Note: this node always marks the final point in the flow. You can't add any follow-up steps after it.
