Optimizing newsletter send times

Boost conversions and save time by letting Reloadify automatically determine the best send time for your newsletters based on historical data.

Manually analyzing and scheduling the ideal send time is time-consuming, especially with high volumes. With the Optimize Send Time feature, Reloadify calculates the most favorable hour of the day for each shop. This results in higher relevance and better performance for your sent emails.

How it works

Reloadify analyzes your shop’s previously sent newsletters and evaluates performance per hour. You choose the metric for success, such as opens or clicks. Based on this data, the newsletter is scheduled for the hour that has historically performed best.

Example: If you previously sent emails at 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 5:00 PM, and the 12:00 PM mailing performed best, Reloadify will select 12:00 PM as the optimal send time.

Setting the send time

Follow these steps to activate optimization:

  1. Go to Marketing > Newsletters.

  2. Select your target audience and proceed to the Timeframe step.

  3. Toggle the Optimize send time switch to 'on'.

  4. Select your preferred metric: opens, clicks, (minimal) bounces, drops, or spam complaints.

  5. Check the newsletter summary to see when the mailing will be sent.

Combinations with other features

  • Spread sending: Sending starts at the optimal moment and is then distributed over your specified duration.

  • A/B testing: Both the test phase and the winning variant are sent at the optimal time. Optimization takes precedence over the set test duration; therefore, the winning variant may be sent several hours after the test ends.

Important conditions

  • Historical data: Reloadify only considers hours you have used in the past. Hours without a sending history are avoided.

  • Scheduling: Once this feature is enabled, the option to manually select a date or time is disabled.

  • Timing: The optimal moment can be immediate, but may also occur up to 23 hours after activating the campaign.
