We regularly get the question whether you can upload an exported CSV file directly back to Reloadify. This is definitely possible! This requires some adjustments to the CSV file.

Do you want to make an export of your customers? Then read this article first.

Did you make an export? Then you will see that this is the layout of your export:

So, for the record, you have the following rows:

Platform_ID

Email

First_name

Last_name

Telephone

Subscribed_to_newsletter

Province

City

Street

Housenumber

Zipcode

Gender

Birthdate

Country_code

Active

Tags

Created_at

Subscribed_to_newsletter_at

Have you modified your file and want to upload it again? Then you will get an error message.

Step 1. Remove the following fields

For importing, we do not recognize the following fields:

Platform_ID

Created_at

Subscribed_to_newsletter_at

When you remove these columns from your Excel file, half the work is already done!

Step 2. Remove 'unidentified' from 'gender'.

Do you have a lot of 'unidentified' in the 'gender' row? This is not being recognized by Reloadify. In that case, remove this word or even better: the whole row.

Now you are ready to convert the file back to a CSV file and upload it to Reloadify.

πŸ‘‰ Pro tip: we only add the newly obtained information to the profile. Want to keep it simple for yourself? Then only add the columns you have modified. Usually, these are your tags, subscribed_to_newsletter or active. The columns you didn't customize can simply be removed in your import. Reloadify already has that information, so there is no need to send it again. That saves a lot of time!
